2002 Sebastiani Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir ($15)
Clear and bright, medium ruby fading to a pale ruby rim. Clean, intense, youthful nose of red cherries, wild strawberries, vanilla spice and lots of smoky oak. Dry, with medium-high acidity and medium, soft tannins. Medium-full bodied, with an intense fruity palate of red cherries, berries, vanilla and smoke. Medium-high alcohol and medium-long length. A very good quality, easy-drinking, fruit-forward style of pinot. Drink now and over the next 2-3 years.
