What I've Learned This Week
Dear Diary,
This week I've learned that:
- Maggie likes wookies
- Cafe Madrid is a fine restaurant
- Wine bloggers are really quite good writers
- Tannins are tricky
- Bill has opened up his special book of mystical wine adjectives (black stones, bizarre tension, dessert like dustiness)
- The Cincinnati Wine Warehousers are very nice folks (at right in photo)
Always great to be able to put faces with the names behind the blogs (and the wives/husbands/significant others).
Maybe we need to have a "Show your face" blog event?

Thank you again for making our trip to Salt Lake very special. The Cafe Madrid was a delight as were the wine choices. Now if you could have only mustered up 4 more feet of powder in Park City, it would have been perfect! Looking forward to seeing you both again soon, whether it be Wine Blog Con #1 or in Maine. Mi casa es tu casa!
