Very good/fairly easy meals
A few easily prepared, yet stellar-tasting meals I've had over the past week (with wine recommendations, of course). Food blogs are wondrous things...
- From Kate @ Accidental Hedonist: Saltimbocca
- Wine pairing: Quinta do Carmo Reserva, Alentejo, '01 ($30); Portugal
- From Barrett @ Too Many Chefs: Scallop Chowder
- Wine pairing: Aveleda Vinho Verde, ($8); Portugal
- From Epicurious: Chicken Curry w/Cashews
- Wine pairing: Bouvet Rose Excellence, ($15); France
Nice pairing. I've heard of Portuguese "green" wines, but I've never tried one. I'll seek it out when I make another batch of chowder.
Glad you liked the recipe!

Vinho Verde is a versatile little wine - young, crisp and spritzy. I used it in the chowder recipe as well and liked the result.
Cheers,
