The Ten Wine Commandments: I

There has been a lot of hullabaloo lately about The Ten Commandments.  Religion, it seems, is seeping into many traditionally secular areas of life (at least here in the U.S.).  In fact, I had a dream the other night that I was required, by law, to say grace at my favorite restaurant before ordering.  So I figured I should re-familiarize myself with The Big 10.  This week I present all X Commandments (from a wine Universalist perspective).

I.  Thou shalt have no other beverages before wine (Actually, it’s always a good idea to drink plenty of water.  Additionally, Kirin is a very tasty companion to sushi & sashimi.  Oh, and a sweating martini on summer evenings hits the spot.)
