Tinta de Toro

Numanthia2002 Numanthia Termes Tinta de Toro ($22)
Clear, medium ruby fading to a pale pink rim. Clean, youthful, medium intense nose of black cherries and currants, herbs and spicy oak. Dry, with medium acidity and medium-high ripe tannins. Medium bodied with an intense palate of spicy black currant, tobacco, earth and cocoa. High alcohol with long length and a warm, complex finish. Very good quality wine made from 100% tempranillo. Enough fruit and tannins to age over the next 10 years.  From Spain's Toro D.O.

Damn, this wine is $60 retail in Ohio! How many bottles can I get for $22? I would strongly suggest you back up the truck at this price!

Oh. A wine pal got this and she said it costs $22. Hmmm. Lemme verify the price she paid...

There are two different bottlings with nearly identical names. One goes for about 24 buck, the other for about 50-60 bucks. Beware.
