Cliché Cliché Go Away

In the vein of the brown spice-accented peaches and wine words I hate, I stumbled upon a recent article by San Jose Mercury News wine writer, Laurie Daniel.  The piece is titled, "Wine Marketing Clichés We Can Do Without." (fairly painless registration req'd).  Ms. Daniel has come up with four clichés she wishes would amscray:

  1. Our wine is made in the vineyard
  2. We pick on flavors
  3. We don't make wine for our critics (I started laughing as I typed this)
  4. Our wines are hand-crafted

She goes into a bit of detail for each cliché.  Take a peek at the article, it's a fun read.  Got any annoying marketing clichés to add?

I think just about EVERY SINGLE WINERY I deal with uses these...very funny.

These phrases all seem to have that "1,000 points of light," "one day at a time," -feeling.
