Who is the WG?
Many of you have enjoyed these recent posts
Look closely at the author's name; it aint me. It's the Basic Juice WineGoddess. I've introduced her once before, but feel the need for a more thorough howdy-do (and because she's promised to post more often!). So who exactly is this WineGoddess?
Is she a being of supernatural powers? Not exactly. WineGoddess, worshipper of all things wine, goes by “Kori” in her terrestrial form. Kori holds the Sommelier Certificate from the Sommelier Society of America. She also holds the WSET Advanced Certificate with Merit, and the WSET Diploma in Wines & Spirits (editor's note -- with honors!) from the International Wine Center in New York City.
Kori left her past-life in finance several years ago to attend the French Culinary Institute, and has since worked for a wine shop, written, tasted and taught when she can. She takes great pleasure in helping people discover wine and demystifying it for those who view it as a foreign language. Kori’s favorite part about the business (besides the art of consumption) is how it requires constant learning - how one can never know it all, and how fun it is to mock those who think they do.
She'd better start posting more regularly...keep on her Jarvis!
With all the pub she's getting...her ego must be swelling though...no? ;)
Maybe see if you can get her a date with Derek Jeter or something...
