Now you've got no excuse for making a boring Christmas dinner
Stephen and I continue our culinary public service by offering the world's best holiday food & wine pairing ideas. In case you missed out on the previous two menus, here are some highlights:
Christmas Menu I - yummy salmon & mouthwatering Riesling. Wood-roasted chicken, Brussels sprouts (!) & a nifty Sicilian red
Feast of the Seven Fishes - Crab cakes & green wine. Salmon scallop terrine & Gewurztraminer
If neither of the above menus spurred you into culinary action, then Christmas Menu II should shock you out of your seat and into the kitchen. It includes:
- Sun-dried tomato crostini, roasted butternut soup & Italian Prosecco
- Wood-roasted standing rib roast, herb roasted potatoes, steamed broccoli & Spanish Monastrell
- Fiery, dark dangerous chocolate souffle & tawny port
Start cooking already! And don't forget to give hope for the holidays.
