One Word Movie Reviews
In the interim between slicing & dicing and morphing into a radioactive superhero, I watched many movies. Initially I felt incredibly lazy - I wanted to write & taste and write & taste some more. Unfortunately the gray matter in my frontal lobe was running test patterns, which resulted in dulled senses and overall acute dumbness. I decided to embrace sedintary culture and plant my posterior on the couch and become an entertainment consumer. Allow me to present one-word reviews from selected films/series I took in whilst playing sofa spud.Good Night & Good Luck - relevant
Arrested Development; Seasons 1 & 2 - sidesplitting
The Interpreter - uninspired
Mr & Mrs Smith - ipecac
Wag the Dog - prescient
Saved! - stinging
Syriana - mindblowing
Super Size Me - thought-provoking
Crash - disturbing (but in a good, makes one think, sort of way)
Embedded Live - biting
The 40-Year Old Virgin - fun (but 45 minutes too long)
Serenity - mediocre
The Life of Mammals Vols 1-4 - fascinating
The Crying Game - unshocking (perhaps 10+ years ago)
Mad Hot Ballroom - sweet
Charlie & The Chocolate Factory - unimaginative (Gimme the original)
Kontroll - compelling
